Launch of Women’s Voices publication at WILPF 2015 Conference

On 28 April, the Women’s Initiatives for Gender Justice will launch our publication Women’s Voices: A Call for Peace, Accountability and Reconciliation for the Greater North of Uganda in The Hague at the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) 2015 Conference, ‘ Women’s Power to Stop War: Uniting a Global Movement’.
 
Women’s Voices is a story of grassroots advocacy for peace, justice and reconciliation in northern Uganda. The launch will feature a young woman formerly abducted by the LRA who will talk about her experience and escape from the LRA and her work now as an advocate for other young women affected by the war in the Greater North of Uganda.
