1.        We are expecting more than 450 overseas participants for the Women’s International War Crimes Tribunal, including media, and over 60 participants for the International Public Hearing on Crimes Against Women in Recent Wars and Conflicts.  The following tables show participants for the Tribunal.

3.        The events of the Tribunal will be internet-broadcasted.  The broadcast will be accessible through the homepage of VAWW-NET Japan at www.jca.apc.org/vaww-net-japan.  A digest edition of the broadcast will be accessible for a month after the Tribunal takes place.

4.        The time schedule of the demonstration announced to take place on November 29, 2000 by the pervious press release has been changed as shown below.

13:00 - Lobbying to the public offices.

5.        Demonstration in Germany

Japanese women living in Germany are going to have a press conference on November 21, 2000 at 11am in the Bank of Socialekonomie (Oranienburger Str. 13/14, 10117 Berlin) to show their supports for the Tribunal.  Speakers will include Dr. Monika Hauser, (Media Mondiale), Ms. Irmgart Muenzer (Projektgroup Womenstribunal 2000 of the ecumenical center of the protestant church of Hessen and Nassau), a member of the Korean Womens group Germany, and a member of the Japanese Womensinsiativ Berlin.  Following to the press conference will be a demonstration in front of the Japanese embassy in Berlin on November 22, 2000 at 2p.
